EXPERIENCE

QUIRINO OLIVERA

President of the Association for the Scientific Research of the Amazon of Peru (ASICAMPE) Degree in archaeology, National University of Trujillo, he received his doctorate with honors, with the qualification of outstanding, mention "Cum Laude", in History of Art and Cultural Management in the Hispanic World, at the University Pablo de Olavide, Seville (Spain), ten years ago, he is developing archaeological research in the Amazon. In 2013, his work was recognized by the Shanghai Archaeology Forum and the Chinese Academy of Sciences as "One of the Ten Best Archaeological Discoveries in the World". 

He has published two books and several articles with the results of his research. Currently, with the support of the Peru-Ecuador Binational Plan, Peru Chapter, in an inter-institutional support agreement with the Regional Government of Cajamarca, the Provincial Municipality of Jaén and the Association for Scientific Research in the Amazon of Peru (ASICAMPE), he is developing the Marañón Archaeological Research Program (PRIAM), for a period of four years 2019 to 2022, which is authorized by the Ministry of Culture.
